The Goonies Coin Registry (registry.goonieshouse.com) · Effective July 15, 2026
When you register a coin, we collect: your name and email address (from your Google sign-in), the coin number and series you're registering, the story of where you found or acquired your coin, why you're registering it, and the photos you upload of your coin and certificate.
Your information is used to verify and maintain the coin registry, to contact you about your registration, and, if you're a verified coin holder, to give you early access to treasure hunt clues and Goonies event updates. That's it. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
Uploaded photos are used only to verify your coin. Photos are private: only you and registry admins can view them. If we ever want to feature your photo publicly, we'll ask you first.
Registry admins (the small team that verifies registrations) can see registration details. Other visitors can see only aggregate numbers, like how many coins have been registered. Your name, email, and photos are never shown publicly.
Sign-in is handled by Google; we never see or store a password. The registry runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Emails are delivered by Postmark. Each of these providers processes data only as needed to run the registry.
We send registration updates (received, approved, needs another look) and occasional Goonies event or hunt announcements. Every announcement email includes a way to opt out, and you can reply to any message to reach us directly.
You can sign in anytime to see your registrations. If you'd like your information corrected or deleted from the registry, email us at deepak@getwendy.com and we'll take care of it. Note that deleting a registration releases your coin number back to unclaimed status.
The registry is meant for adults. If a Goonie under 13 has a coin, a parent or guardian should register it on their behalf.
